About RIL fix

Well as you may notice, RIL is not working on new Beta 3 (so calls and 3g are not working). One guy at XDA, myaservip, has kind of "fixed" RIL. Well, this guy is my actual tassve tester so I contacted him, and he told me how he did it. And the way he did it was the way I don't want to do it, but maybe some people want that way.

He replaced whole libs from Beta 2 into Beta 3. Off course this will fix RIL as Beta 2 libs had RIL fixed. What we realise was, what was actually causing RIL broken? And the answer was: USB Mass Storage.

Is kind of weird that USB mass storage broke RIL communications, but as you can see on this old screenshoot, RIL was broken:

You can see the No service. On old Beta 2 it never said No service. it said emergency calls only, because RIL was detected... So somehow our USB mass storage is releated to RIL, kind of weird eh? I'll have to investigate more.

About the patch of that guy, I want let him to publish, as many of my work on new beta 3 libs will dissappear :( so I don't think it is a good fix, although it gave me the clues to know what was causing the bug! :P

    aqui mi comentario sobre la beta 3 .....MUY BUENA EXELENTE FELICITACIONES BIEL....ahora la probe mucho y encontre varios bugs se podria decir :
    -el ril esta roto (no hay llamadas)
    -algunas apk se instalan correctamente pero no funcionan ejemplo facebook
    -instale linksd y al monmento de pasar las apk de telefono a sd se reinicia el celu cada vez que se quiere pasar una apk

    -SONIDO MUY BUENO
    -video sigue con el mismo problema de colores
    -MUY FLUIDA y rapido
    esto es una critica sana amigo para que en un futuro soluciones estos errores........bueno sigue adelante TE FELICITO POR TODO ESTE TRABAJO Y ANIMO

    Exelente trabajo bielv yo diría que solucionarad el rol ya que es importante como todo lo demás pero con este esta la red mobil 3g y muchos la usan seria bueno que des algún tuto de como hacerlo manualmente

    Bieltv.3 , I just copy libasound.so from beta 2 to system/lib and RIL was fixed :D
    I don't even know why :P
    maybe there's something related to RIL in that file ?

      Hi Viet, this fixed me the problem, as now emergency calls are showed... Although I can't enter my PIN number at the moment, maybe wrong config on device tree for old tree... I'll take a look carefully :P

      USB mass storage work normally on my galaxy Y
      I don't have much friend so being able to send sms is enough for me lol :P
      I don't know anything about compiling and libs so good luck biel :)

Audio working, what about nes release?

Hi there, I managed to get audio working, but just on speakers at the moment. I've made really big step up, but we do not have Audio Sources for other communications and that is really bad. Dissapointed but big news too!

Hi there, as you may know I'm kind of dissapointed on how people talked about me on this post I made some days ago. I've made a video explaining what I think about it, and announced big things, although I'm not feeling quite well to share with some guys out there, insulting me behind "Anonymous" name.   Don't ask any ETA!
