CM9 Beta 3 is out!

CyanogenMod 9.1 Beta 3 for Galaxy Ace i, Galaxy Y and Galaxy mini ihas just come out! Make sure to read the changelog and read the notes, so let's go witht he changelog:
  • Improved HW drivers implementation
  • Fixed Audio coming through speakers
  • New audio libs built from source (legacy ALSA - Nexus S)
  • Fixed USB Mass Storage (USB connected through PC)
  • Fixed torch (Cooperve) deleting dependency with Camera libs
  • Fixed Sensors adding memsicd to build and new Sensor libs
  • Fixed accelerometer (rotation screen, smooth effect)
  • Fixed proximity sensor (on calling)
  • First support of open-sourced liblights (future BLN support - not included)
  • First work done on fixing battery stats (Settings -> Battery, not working atm)
  • Fixed LDPI (tassve, totoro) values for trebuchet and framework
  • Added back small and simple file Manager (requested)
  • Deleted double de-fines on build.prop
  • New property overrides took from CM9 of msm7x27 devices (untested)
  • Improved stability of CM9 on BCM devices
  • Update-script like CM9 official (removing Kernel install)
  • Improved device tree
NOTE: RIL has been broken due to new audio libs and probably wrong configs used, I'll need to take a look to that carefully (2g and 3g does not work).
NOTE 2: Some users will expierence 1% battery bug, this can be fixing by charging your phone and make a reboot, or try to wipe battery stats.

      It not beacause RIL.
      Sound works only with speaker.

    Read the changelog carefully before commenting ...

    Biel has clearly stated that RIL is not working ...
    means THERE IS NO IMEI, NO NETWORK, NO 2G/3G, NO DATA, NO CALLS

    Muchas gracias biel por la beta 3 voy a comentar mis impresiones primarias, la rom se instala bien sin problemas y funciona impecable da la sensación de tener mayor suavidad que la beta 2, el sonido es claro y la musica suena bien , bug que encontre: la camara no funciona (no probe otras) se puede instalar las gaps ics pero no te deja instalar nada de la play store ni se actualiza queda trabado descargando =( , y otro bug es que mientras intentaba descargar un app con la pantalla apagada al prenderla se me reinicio , eso es lo que e visto hasta ahora si veo mas comentare por aqui, saludos.

    Sigo con mis impresiones: Varias app de camara no funcionan Instagram, vine, retrica y otras no andan, facebook se instala pero se cierra al intentar poner la pass , video se puede ver en el navegador desde facebook o youtube pero los colores se ven mal, google maps no anda (la pantalla se ve negra) el gps parece no funcionar , bueno por ahora eso si veo algo mas comento.

    Buen desarrollo Bieltv3, probé tu versión, falta muy poco para que sea estable, pero requiere un arduo trabajo, yo he intentado compilar desde mi pobre laptop pero para cm9 no aguanta, y me saltan muchos errores con los controladores liberados, quizás deba volver a descargar el source de cm9.e iniciar desde 0. Respecto a tu trabajo es estupendo veo que USB storage funciona, el audio es muy limpio incluso mejor que en cm7, felicitaciones por tu trabajo, yo también soy estudiante, aunque de Ingeniería Mecánica, y no soy capaz de hacer lo que haces, yo dejo siempre mis proyectos, por darle prioridad a mis estudios, y siempre los olvido. La verdad usted es un ejemplo a seguir para este novato. :)

    It vill be very good, fast and smooth, but too many bugs :
    -Airplane mode cannot be turned off
    -Mobile network doesn't work (can't make phone calls)

Galaxy Ace s5830 (msm7x27) come back to development!

As I can see, Galaxy Ace s5830 development is kind of dead. I don't know why though, but now, as I have a good PC I want to make them turn alive. My actual work on this device were CM10, CM10.1 and CM10.2. We removed CM10 as it performed worst than CM10.1. CM9 was already on its latest version by maclaw and erikcas, so we don't need more work on it.  Although that, CyanogenMod and Androidarmv6 (my team) has stopped working on CM10.1 and CM10.2 basing from now on CM11 KitKat. I think its time to introduce the FINAL version on CM10.1 and CM10.2 as now I've a good PC that can build those ROMs in a "relative" small time. So you guys stay tuned too on my development for Cooper, Qualcomm Galaxy Ace based. PD: Still loving it more than Broadcom based ;) I Will not leave Broadcom phones! And I will release more CM9 versions for BCM21553 devices but  please don't blame on me if I've other interests. Thank you.

Audio working, what about nes release?

Hi there, I managed to get audio working, but just on speakers at the moment. I've made really big step up, but we do not have Audio Sources for other communications and that is really bad. I'll try to figure out how to make them work (front speaker and headphone), without any kind of source. Apart from that, I've bad news too, RIL has been broken due to new Audio libs. This is really weird, and I must figure it out too, although that will be really difficult. I want to make you a question, would you like to see Beta 3 with audio (speakers) working and more fixes that you don't know, BUT with RIL broken? Fixing RIL will take a lot of time to make them compatible with new Audio sources... So what you think?
