Some Audio discoverment!

I've been researching for a while for some Audio base, as tinyAlsa seems to be broken on Ice Cream Sandwich. As far as I've investigated, our device use kind of the same Audio it was used on Nexus S. It is not the same though, but Nexus S used on Gingerbread audio ALSA. Audio system is really easy on Nexus S sources, although I don't think it will be as easy on our phones.
Nexus S ICS source is open sourced, as it is nexus device. Here are the files it uses:

I'll try to implement this source on our littles Broadcom Galaxy devices, but I'm not sure it will work I'll still give a feedback out here!
Stay tuned for more news!

  11. Android Open Sources are especially built for Nexus Devices and you need to simply modify all of the code to a compatible state for broadcom devices and I guess it will take longer time and also you need to concentrate on huge lines of code... Anyway, Best of Luck!!

  13. @Biel: To your notice, goto this place in CM9 source: frameworks/base/services/audioflinger/* This is the place where you need to work to fix audio bugs in your build!! I guess replacing the code with some other device's' doesn't normally work!!

  14. @Biel: And maybe you can see this one too in the CM9 source: external/qemu/audio/* Maybe this one also helps for you to analyze the audio bug!
