Update: Xperia SP and BCM21553 devices

We have not done many work on the project regarging BCM21553 devices due to the lack of time we have these days. Tired and tired of trying new things to our little devices I got some fun with Xperia SP (my actual device). Some fixes have been made regarding recovery button and offline charging. Both should be implemented on next FXP release.

I've been working too on gerrit official CyanogenMod review system, regariding maintanace for CyanogenMod 11. If you already noticed, CM11 is having some bugs regarding memory. This is due to a bug on status bar, which acumulates the views into the system... making the phone completly empty of views and more views... More information, take a look at Gerrit change on CM, and if you can give a +1 to him. that fix should work. http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/63034/

For Broadcom devices: We have improved CyanogenMod 9.1 (related to drivers), but they are so unstable. This is the reason, why we don't release them. From our side, we can't make any improvement more at the moment regaring CyanogenMod 9.1, but we can on its kernel. Alberto96 is doing more than an amazin work on the next kernel we should bring to you, and if we are lucky, to our next common kernel. As he has reported, he finally suceed to port Alcatel V3D drivers to our samsung outdated 2010 kernel. As he says, this improves alot stabilty on CyanogenMod 9.1 ROMS.

While he was working on Kernel, I worked on CyanogenMod 7.2. (Yeah, it is not forgotten). Savie seems to have fixed USB tethering, but I have not tested yet. I've been playing with Audio built from source, but not too much improvement I have made. I guess though, that the main error is on asound.conf file, which I think it needs some rebase. Apart from that, I've updated media_profiles.xml basing on cooper CM7.2. Next release will include an improvement of quality regaring video recording, and hopefully a better sound recoerding too. By fixing all those Audio issues, we will probably fix tha broken A2DP lib (Bluetooth headsets), and give a better expierence to everyone.

Okey, jsut confirmed: New CM7.2 release will have HIGH mode recording video, and will get to 5MP on cooperve, and to 3MP on tassve and totoro.

As far as I know, nothing more to tell. As said, and I will repeat, I'm really busy on my live now... writting this post took my 2 days. Last exams are coming, so I should be ready for them. Apart from that, I'm making a GAME  (for school) and I'll proablby post here when done. Actually that GAME will be the mark of my next IT exam... :)

      This cant be done for legal reason - they cant be included in the rom (google will tell you why)

      All you have to do is flash gapps (either gapps for gingerbread or gapps for ics depending on if using cm7 or cm9)

    So you can take care of Xperia phones too? does Xperia U has Cyanogenmod? and for SGY, when is your target release of Cyanogenmod7? and does CM7beta4's headset is not working? because when i play music at my headset it only plays at the speaker. big thanks and good luck for the exams ^^

    Que pudieras arreglar los defectos de la cam en la CM7 (flash y bugs visuales) eso seria magnifico porque es lo unico que no me gusta de esa rom, y que la camara es lo unico bueno que tiene el galaxy ACE

Audio working, what about nes release?

Hi there, I managed to get audio working, but just on speakers at the moment. I've made really big step up, but we do not have Audio Sources for other communications and that is really bad. Dissapointed but big news too!

Hi there, as you may know I'm kind of dissapointed on how people talked about me on this post I made some days ago. I've made a video explaining what I think about it, and announced big things, although I'm not feeling quite well to share with some guys out there, insulting me behind "Anonymous" name.   Don't ask any ETA!
