About microphone

It seems (I have not tested) that psyke83 has fixed mic on CM11, and it can be possible! Why? Because instead of adapting our currently Nexus S audio lib he took a Nexus 7 2012 Audio lib, and he was lucky, as it fixed the microphone on Kitkat!

Why can't we do this too? Well, Nexus 7 2012 was released with Jelly Bean on it, and many things changed on source between ICS and Jelly Bean. Me and Alberto have tried to port this lib to ICS, but no luck. So we have to still keep trying other ALSA libs to become a bit lucky, and fine one with a good configuration for our devices. Remeber, that we don't have any source for Audio.

Still not working on audio: Earpiece, front speaker, mic, headphones --> JUST Speaker!

  5. If BroadcomCM can see you are working on a device why aren't releasing there drivers when you need them ?, is there a date that they have to wait till until they can officially release there drivers ?

    1. broadcom are not responsible for audio - they only do the cpu and graphics - there are no audio sources hense why alternatives must be found buts its just finding a source that can be adapted - Also note BroadcomCM is biels team not broadcom who make the chipset for the phone
