CyanogenMod 9.2 Beta 5 released!

I'm glad to introduce on of the best works ever made by BroadcomCM team. This ROM represents all the work made during the last 3 months. I hope you don't blame on it. Here is the BIG changelog

  • Re-newed device tree from scratch
  • Optimized libgralloc and libhwcomposer
  • Fixed laggy bootanimation
  • Completly removed artifacts on screen due to bad HW drivers
  • Finally improved and fixed whole HW system
  • Imporved Nexus S audio libs
  • Fixed microphone
  • New liblight lib open source - future support of BLN
  • New camera library based on QCOM msm7x27 devices
  • Camera preview working
  • Camera pictures working too on native camera app
  • Added all propietary necessary camera libs
  • Panorama mode also working
  • New binary for get_macaddrs and patched libbrcm_ril.so
  • New WIFI configurations
  • FIxed WIFI signal bars
  • Fixed GPS, need more tests
  • Stop using old Bluetooth system, and swithced to CM9
  • Renewed and swithced to AOSP open offline charging
  • Vold now built from source, and faster media scanning
  • Fix battery capacity of some devices, and imrporved battery stats
  • Init and adb binaried built from source
  • Fixed whole adb system (adb shell, su)
  • Force adb to work on the first boot without debug options
  • CWM6 built from ICS source and integrated on kernel build
  • New kernel worked from 0 for all three devices
  • New ramdisk full compatible with CM9 and built from source
  • Common kernel is present on this build
  • Switched to Alcatel libv3d kernel drivers
  • Adapted cooperve camera drivers to common kernel 
  • New recovery.fstab partitiont table

      Assumung you have all installed the correct ICS gapps and correctly mounted everything

      For the playstore I havent tested but go back into cwm and check if you can mount the cache partition - if not do the following or try it anyway
      Make a nandroid backup
      Then advanced restore cache only
      reboot

    Biel, las llamadas no funcionan; Me parecio que dijiste que no la sacarias hasta que arreglaran eso :/ En cuanto a fluidez, es impresionante lo bien que va! Ningun problema, los nuevos drivers son espetaculares! Pero me gustaria para una Beta 6, o RC1, ya estubiera arreglado el problema de las llamadas y microfono. Tiene una cantidad imensa de bugs, pero muy bien! Esperamos con ansias una proxima version :F Mucha suerte!, cuidense :)

    Very fast and smoot but:
    *WIFI automatic off sometimes
    *mic dont work in calls but in recording audio work fine
    *play store dont work(i dont know why)

    ¿Liberaron los drivers que faltaban? por que yo estaba informado de que solo te habian dado una parte y no todos, y lo que habias hecho es adaptarlos de cualquier forma, o bueno de ahi no se mucho, pero bueno solo queria saber eso

    Es increible que con tan solo 16 años hagas todo esto posible, tienes futuro en esto!

      El problema de la play store (491) Se resuelve moviendo el caché con una aplicacion llamada Caché Fixer. Cada vez que reinicias tenes que poner la opción en la app, pero de todas formas asi se soluciona. Aca te dejo el link para descargar la app:

    Bluetooth not working i can send files but i cant receive.
    And it also automatically reboots when i turn on bluetooth it never stops in the boot animation. Im using totoro pls fix this thanks^_^

    biel hay un problema, cuando esta cargando, el dispositivo se reinicia cuando esta en los porcentajes de 90 a 100 y de 1 a 10, espero que ayas tenido esto en cuenta.

Audio working, what about nes release?

Hi there, I managed to get audio working, but just on speakers at the moment. I've made really big step up, but we do not have Audio Sources for other communications and that is really bad. I'll try to figure out how to make them work (front speaker and headphone), without any kind of source. Apart from that, I've bad news too, RIL has been broken due to new Audio libs. This is really weird, and I must figure it out too, although that will be really difficult. Dissapointed but big news too!

Hi there, as you may know I'm kind of dissapointed on how people talked about me on this post I made some days ago. I've made a video explaining what I think about it, and announced big things, although I'm not feeling quite well to share with some guys out there, insulting me behind "Anonymous" name.   Don't ask any ETA!
