You want it, you got it, thay told me to make a video of how to install a Rom on the Galaxy Ace caused by some problems to some users, so here it is the video, follow and you won't have any problem ;-)
As I can see, Galaxy Ace s5830 development is kind of dead. I don't know why though, but now, as I have a good PC I want to make them turn alive. My actual work on this device were CM10, CM10.1 and CM10.2. We removed CM10 as it performed worst than CM10.1. CM9 was already on its latest version by maclaw and erikcas, so we don't need more work on it. Although that, CyanogenMod and Androidarmv6 (my team) has stopped working on CM10.1 and CM10.2 basing from now on CM11 KitKat. I think its time to introduce the FINAL version on CM10.1 and CM10.2 as now I've a good PC that can build those ROMs in a "relative" small time. So you guys stay tuned too on my development for Cooper, Qualcomm Galaxy Ace based. PD: Still loving it more than Broadcom based ;) I Will not leave Broadcom phones! And I will release more CM9 versions for BCM21553 devices but please don't blame on me if I've other interests. Thank you.
Well although this is not releated to development, I've bought a new PC, finally! I've been working hard this year with kids at soccer team, and with my saves, I've expended them on this nice laptop. The laptop is a Lenovo G510 with this specifications: Processor : Intel Core i7 - 4702 MQ RAM Memory : 4GB DDR3 (One slot free) Graphics : AMD Radeon r7 M265 Hard Drive : 500 GB Price: 599 Euros (820 dollar, 490 pounds, 49499 ruppies) Although you may think that with this laptop everything will be faster, you will have to wait a bit. My old PC with all the files and configurations is disconnected at the moment, and pending of a formatting. I shall restore the backup I made, and that is a huge amount of data... Apart from that I'm asking you if you can DONATE to me, to buy the second slot of RAM to upgrade to 8 GB and then be a perfect PC for Android compiling. I can tell you that all my saves + donation money went to this PC and now I'm on 0, so I can...
I'll probably recieve lots of insults of this post on my blog, but I don't care, because I know there is people out there who understands me. I don't know why people blame on me like this. It is like people have forget all the hours I've work on this device... Bringing first CM7 stable from 0, bringing CM9 kind of stable, start everything to force Broadcom to release their drivers... Believe it or not, all the ROMs out there on XDA, FB, G+ or more, based on CM7 / CM9 are my team base, and as a consequence part of my base. We beat CM7 from Galaxy Ace (qualcomm based) making it more stable for a Broadcom device. (I've both phones and I can tell you that). I've realised that people moves from one interest to another, and that makes me sad. I guess, you think I am a Robot, a guy who keeps developing and developing till death! NO, no I am! I've friends, family, studies and I have development too! I started developing on Android platform because I was happy d...
