CM9 Beta 2 & CM10 Beta 2

So yeap, new betas are out, well,  that's a little outdated becasue CM9 beta 2 was out two days ago and I'm testing on my phone Beta 2 of CM10, here there are both changelgos:

CM10 Beta 2: (bieltv3)
  • Camera working (100% - photos and panorama)
  • Video recording working (but usually crashes)
  • Camera doesn't break deep sleep (no more can't connect to camera)
  • Calculator working (for some people: calculator wasn't working)
  • Sources updated to 31-10-2012
All jellaxy oficial changes:
  • zRam (compcache) working
  • heapsize is 64Mb now
  • heapgrowthlimit is 32Mb now
  • back to standard GPS config
CM9 Beta 2: (Daredj)
  • Updated Wayland Sources.
  • Camera Working (No video recording) NO DEEP SLEEP.
  • Some fixes (IF IS NOT ON BUGS MEANS SOLVED, IF YOU FIND ANY NEW ADD ON POST AFTER READ THIS).
  • Removed RomManager.

      ok man, no problem, i will wait. By the way, great job, you guys did an incredible ROM, best one i ever try until now. You worked hard for this and this makes every user happy, even tho is not your job to make this, all of you made awesome improvements. We can see all the effort you put in and is just fantastic. Keep it up guys.

    I'm using Beta 1 is'm very happy ... stable, smoothly
    only thing that still needs improvement is the battery consumption.

Audio working, what about nes release?

Hi there, I managed to get audio working, but just on speakers at the moment. I've made really big step up, but we do not have Audio Sources for other communications and that is really bad. I'll try to figure out how to make them work (front speaker and headphone), without any kind of source. Apart from that, I've bad news too, RIL has been broken due to new Audio libs. This is really weird, and I must figure it out too, although that will be really difficult. I want to make you a question, would you like to see Beta 3 with audio (speakers) working and more fixes that you don't know, BUT with RIL broken? Fixing RIL will take a lot of time to make them compatible with new Audio sources... So what you think? Daily update

I'm trying now to give you some quick updates. CM9 development is still work in progress. We can't release it because mainly two things: Lot of work is made in one day, so if we release something, next day we will have to update it, and we don't have enough time to support nightlies. Release will be when we think the ROM is stabler and better than Beta 4, which still is not. Rom is not yet ready! We have reworked from 0 repositories and kernel. It gives a much more better expierence, but is unstable too. Remember that BroadcomCM will support CM9 and CM7 while androidarmv6 team will support CM11. We do really ahve to thank psyke83, he has solved many issues and helped me and Alberto on the process of making the ROM. Thanks to him (and a bit of us :P) we will have the best CM9 ROM ever made, jsut some patience... All updates of CM9 can be watched on broadcomCM repositories and you will found all the work we are making on this release!

Big news! New laptop!

Well although this is not releated to development, I've bought a new PC, finally! I've been working hard this year with kids at soccer team, and with my saves, I've expended them on this nice laptop. The laptop is a Lenovo G510 with this specifications: Processor : Intel Core i7 - 4702 MQ RAM Memory : 4GB DDR3 (One slot free) Graphics : AMD Radeon r7 M265 Hard Drive : 500 GB Price: 599 Euros (820 dollar, 490 pounds, 49499 ruppies) Although you may think that with this laptop everything will be faster, you will have to wait a bit. My old PC with all the files and configurations is disconnected at the moment, and pending of a formatting. I shall restore the backup I made, and that is a huge amount of data... Apart from that I'm asking you if you can DONATE to me, to buy the second slot of RAM to upgrade to 8 GB and then be a perfect PC for Android compiling.
