New CM7 and kernel for everyone!
So, as you may know, drivers for Android 4.0.4 has been out, and I've made a 100% working port of them to our little BCM21553 devices, you can see how it works on this video:
Although, just one device was ready to boot and work with ICS drivers, our team, BroadcomCM thought that the best way to publish ICS, is to start, make all devices the same on CM7. That's why we released new CM7 for all three devices, and not just that, they all have now the same kernel! v 4.0. CM7 does not have changelog, as it is the same than on cooperve, RC4, but kernel does:
- Same build as version 3.0 , #7
- Bigger cleanup ever made on ramdisk, to match CM7 and CM9 requiriments.
- Added new BroadcomCM temp. CWM, with colors fixed.
- Reduced booting time
- Built with first 100% BCM21553 common ramdisk working based on AOSP ROMs.
Although seems a small changelog, it is really important, so now all the devices will be able to boot and work with the new Broadcom ICS drivers. You can get all the ROMs and Kernels on the download/broadcomCM page on this blog, which is the same than HERE.
Stay tuned for more news! Regarding ICS...
NOTE: MY EXAMS ARE OVER! :D
