RIL and IMEI fixed!

So after lots and lots of different "fixes" I've finally fixed IMEI and RIL on CM9. The most important part of it is that USB mass storage and Audio are not broken, and we can have our RIL fully working! Expect new release soon with some minor changes!

 


Remember that microphone is not working, and front speakers either, so it is unable to make a call at the moment!

      Problem while Playing Videos ,
      the Colors are Swapped and so laggy ..Although it fixes in MX Player using SW Decoder..

      HW drivers are not completely implemented in some cases (ie. enable Screen updates un developer tools in settings). Maybe will be fixed in Beta 4/5 (HW is at least working, now is time for fixing other things :]).

      Camera fix will not be created too fast. You know, our Camera HAL is different in some ways.

      I don't have any deep knowledge about programming, hoping to learn. I hope biel will fix it as soon as possible.... He made cm9 possible for our lil device dude....

    btw are you also working on a new kernel???
    as your specific kernel have some bugs with the governors and i was not able to boot into cwm....anyways man.... u rule man.....n best of luck with your exams man...

      phffft.... no one has been able to port CM9 to our devices (broadcom chipset) but him....
      he made changes to hw graphics libs that were made for 4.0.1 to suite 4.0.3 and made them work almost flawlessly...that is really some hard work....
      obviously your friend does not know android development at all...he knows the ins and outs of android like a treasure map stuck in his head....
      I have hope that after cm9 ...he will even bring jellybean ....i.e cm10, cm10.1 & cm10.2 and also kitkat to our device...ie cm11...
      by ur comment i'd say your friend is a noob.. for not understanding the complexity of our devices here....btw he is also a part of AndroidArmv6..... he was one of the game changers who brought cm11 to arm 6 devices....!!!

Galaxy Ace s5830 (msm7x27) come back to development!

As I can see, Galaxy Ace s5830 development is kind of dead. I don't know why though, but now, as I have a good PC I want to make them turn alive. My actual work on this device were CM10, CM10.1 and CM10.2. We removed CM10 as it performed worst than CM10.1. CM9 was already on its latest version by maclaw and erikcas, so we don't need more work on it.  Although that, CyanogenMod and Androidarmv6 (my team) has stopped working on CM10.1 and CM10.2 basing from now on CM11 KitKat. I think its time to introduce the FINAL version on CM10.1 and CM10.2 as now I've a good PC that can build those ROMs in a "relative" small time. So you guys stay tuned too on my development for Cooper, Qualcomm Galaxy Ace based. PD: Still loving it more than Broadcom based ;) I Will not leave Broadcom phones! And I will release more CM9 versions for BCM21553 devices but  please don't blame on me if I've other interests. Thank you.

Audio working, what about nes release?

Hi there, I managed to get audio working, but just on speakers at the moment. I've made really big step up, but we do not have Audio Sources for other communications and that is really bad. I'll try to figure out how to make them work (front speaker and headphone), without any kind of source. Apart from that, I've bad news too, RIL has been broken due to new Audio libs. This is really weird, and I must figure it out too, although that will be really difficult. I want to make you a question, would you like to see Beta 3 with audio (speakers) working and more fixes that you don't know, BUT with RIL broken? Fixing RIL will take a lot of time to make them compatible with new Audio sources... So what you think?
