Some progress on CM9

I've been working on CM9 during last week, mainly on audio system, and try to port audio ALSA software system to our devices. I did not have the luck to manage them to work, although I work on it really hard. I stopped from Audio a bit, and focus on other important things (not as much as Audio). I've fixed USB mass storage and I'm working now on IMEI - 3G and data fix. YES I KNOW, there is a flashable zip that "fix" it, but implementing the fix on source need some extra work --> better user expierence. 



I was trying to fix battery stats, although this result on battery always showing 1% so I'll have to revert that :P Well, still working.

For some users: Development took long, and even MORE on my PC. So news will come on 1-2 weeks, I've school, studies, exams, training kids, training with my team and a shit PC. With all of that, I've time for development, but not too much, so please be patient. AUDIO WILL TAKE LOT OF TIME.

    at first thank you for you efforts how can we as users do to optimize our chance for stable cm9 .you dont know how long we wait for broadcom drivers for 5830i please bielv.3 try to give us some hope about our hopeless 5830i and try to think together with users and developers to access better results. and thanks for you efforts again

      although drivers makes HW working, our Broadcom device is a difficult device to be work on, and more in ICE CREAM SANDWHICH! :P

    Hola, tengo un PC que no lo uso mucho, si quieres te lo puedo dejar por TeamViewer para que compiles con el, cabe decir que dudo del lag ya que tengo 40 mb y vivo en Asturias (si no me equivoco eres Español)

    Primero felicitarte por este tremendo trabajo Beta 2 esta muy bien. Estoy muy ansioso por la estable y muchas personas más. Se que estas con muchas cosas, como podemps ayudarte ?

    Segundo pribe RC4 y no funciona 3G ni YouTube al menis hasta donde pude probar.

    i read it on the some older post(now modifed) that audio was fixed (using poweramp libs)..cant it be implemented ..temporarily :(

      Valencià, més bé, encara que ens entenen a la perfecció, la mateixa llengua amb diferents noms. Si he estat provant la teua rom CM 7.2 RC 4, amb idioma català, per suposat.

      He vist que tens ordinador portàtil nou, enhorabona, el meu anglès és molt roin, no sé si et pot servir, jo no sé massa d'aquestes coses, molt poca cosa, però si et pot ajudar, prova a instal.lar una màquina tipus virtual box amb una distribució linux, i aixina disposaràs de dos SO, igual és una barbaritat el que t'he dit, a mi em funciona bé, però jo no necessite tant com tu per a programar.

      My other ARMv7 phone can run from Android Froyo to Kitkat and it is 100% stable on all builds.
      (And also faster than ARMv6 obviously)

    i cannot have an answer for this question that say why samsung didnt realese android 4 for our 5830i although they anounce about that they will do it for our device ? is that because broadcom didnt realese the stable drivers timely or what?

Dissapointed but big news too!

Hi there, as you may know I'm kind of dissapointed on how people talked about me on this post I made some days ago. I've made a video explaining what I think about it, and announced big things, although I'm not feeling quite well to share with some guys out there, insulting me behind "Anonymous" name.   Don't ask any ETA!
